In recent years, the hotel industry was one of the sectors hardest hit by the Covid-19 pandemic, thus it is of great importance to know the quality models aimed at improving the management of hotels. It must be taken into account that, in order to generate a greater flow of clients, adequate management must be guaranteed. The largest hotels project improvements that are validated through quality, environmental care and safety certificates, among others. Quality improvement includes covering the basic concepts of good management, enabling the different processes of planning, organization, management, control and execution of the activities that are developed in the hotel sector, in order to try to detect the different problems that occur in hotel companies and that affect first hand the quality of service in hotels. One of the main findings was that the SERVQUAL model is the most widely used in various sectors, including the hotel sector. With the present research we seek to know in detail the quality models through the review of integrative literature, since it evaluates and synthesizes the existing literature on the subject for the improvement of management in hotels. The characteristics of three quality models that have been mentioned over time in the hotel industry SERVQUAL, SERVPERF, HOTELQUAL, which recognize the dimensions of service quality, specific customer perspectives and their relative value for the customer in each specific segment of the hotel industry, will be evaluated.
