In our country, and especially in the area of construction, it is unlikely that at the end of the execution of real estate projects the budget estimates previously established in the pre-construction stage will be met; Due to the characteristics of a bad technical-economic analysis, likewise, and in this context, it can be affirmed that the generation of a target budget starts with a degree of uncertainty. Therefore, it is considered that a high point in the management of works is a correct estimate of budgets; therefore, the present work presents a complementary methodology for the evaluation and estimation of budgets goals based on the application of simulation tools (Crystal Ball®) and concepts of the Project Management Body of Knowledge Guide (PMBOK). In principle, an analysis of three similar projects is carried out to identify the incident items and be evaluated, by means of costing techniques, and subsequently, already with defined models, to establish the parameters for the simulation. Next step, and with the results obtained from the simulation, a sensitivity analysis of values is carried out to adjust the variables, this step will be developed for the three projects under study, and obtain greater precision in the elaboration of the proposed one. Finally, a Dashboard is prepared as a scheme for decision making by project and a table with reliable values is assigned that will serve as a future data base.
