The objective of this research is to develop a proposal of a technological solution that identifies lost dogs through images captured by mobile devices using deep learning. This arises due to the lack of technological tools that facilitate the search for lost dogs in the community of Chorrillos. Currently there are tools capable of classifying objects, such as GoogLeNet, which is a convolutional neural network capable of detecting more than a thousand categories of objects. Some algorithms for dog breed classification and dog identification are also available, reaching up to an 83% accuracy rate. This project presents a proposal for a technological solution that includes a mobile application that serves as a tool to identify lost dogs supported by a system deployed in Azure through APIs that will use deep learning components for image processing and dog identification.
