The main objective of this research work is to determine to what extent the telework management strategy influences job performance within companies in the tourism sector in Metropolitan Lima, 2020. The research was applied and with a quantitative approach, under a hypothetical deductive method, with a correlational level and a non-experimental, cross-sectional design. The population was made up of heads of human resources or personnel supervisors of 17,200 companies linked to the tourism sector registered as formal providers of tourism services, the sample size being 376 of these professionals. The data collection technique used was the survey and the instrument was a Likert-type questionnaire, developed for this study. The results indicated that there is a high correlation of positive trend and statistically significant, in addition, the linear regression test confirmed that there is a high influence between both data. (Rho=.745; R=.741; p < 0.05), so it was concluded that the management strategy in teleworking significantly influences job performance within companies in the tourism sector in Metropolitan Lima in the year 2020.
