The project seeks to satisfy the cultural needs of the citizens who reside in the city, unlike the existing cultural offer in the city, which is located mainly on buildings adapted from the pre-existing architecture of preceding historical periods. The project is developed in the export warehouses of the Wanchaq railway station (which is declared heritage), on the outskirts of the historic center of the city, which are in a state of abandonment and constitute an urban problem since they form limits hard and do not promote the promotion of the heritage building inside Since this situation is a problem for the city, the project promotes cultural activities taking as an example the spaces that have naturally better disseminated culture within the city (sociopets and socio-fugitives). In addition to incorporating in the building the reinterpretation of the form of Cusco architecture through urban semiotics to understand, deconstructivism and critical regionalism to reinterpret. At the same time, improve the patrimonial condition of the pre-existing property and satisfy the immediate contextual needs with cultural equipment. (Commercial areas and the station still in use).
