The purpose of this research is to determine whether the implementation of the Internet of Medical Things improves the quality of medical care delivered to patients in public health facilities of level II and III of Metropolitan Lima. Likewise, the design is non-experimental, transectional, with a correlational-causal scope and a quantitative approach. For this reason, a survey structured in two parts was carried out. The first one has 19 questions based on the SERVQUAL methodology to identify the expectations and perceptions of the patient regarding the medical appointment. The second part of the survey has 17 multiple-choice, Likert scale and dichotomous questions focused on digital health. For data collection, we defined a sample of 386 patients treated at Dos de Mayo Hospital, Rebagliati Hospital, Almenara Hospital, Loayza Hospital and Neoplastic Institute. For the statistical analysis, the validated data do not have a normal distribution, because the level of significance is less than 0.05, according to the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test. Based on this and the type of variables, the non-parametric Chi-Square test was used, in which all the hypotheses proposed in the research were validated. In conclusion, there is an important relation in the implementation of Internet of Medical Things projects to increase the Quality of medical care delivered to patients in level II and III health facilities in Metropolitan Lima.
