Abstract: La investigación de este proyecto, un Zoológico Metropolitano, es un recurso para conservar la flora y la fauna. Desarrolla una visión ambiental a través de innovadores sistemas constructivos ecológicos, preservar el medio ambiente donde se ubica y, finalmente, brindarle a las personas la oportunidad de estar más en contacto con la naturaleza, experimentar ecosistemas de diversas partes del mundo, para que quieran preservarla. Los zoológicos desarrollan 4 funciones: Esparcimiento, Investigación, Conservación y Educación.
Un Zoológico aporta arquitectónicamente en la forma de distribución que tienen sus diferentes ambientes y su compleja organización. La notoriedad de un zoológico depende mucho de la ubicación de sus actividades estructurantes y de la infraestructura utilizada en las zonas de exhibición y demás ambientes. La infraestructura de un zoológico ha ido evolucionando a lo largo del tiempo, para brindarles a las personas una mejor relación con la naturaleza. La técnica e innovación de estas infraestructuras hacen que este proyecto sea atractivo arquitectónicamente.
