This work has developed an IT incident management model for the Technical Support area of an IT consulting company in Lima, applying international standards and good practices in order to establish improvement activities in the attention of incidents that may present customers' technological systems and components. The work has five chapters. In the first chapter the introductory aspects related to the objective organization, the problematic situation, the problem to be solved, and the general objective that the present work seeks are detailed. In the second chapter the theoretical framework of the work is detailed, in which the norms and standards are analyzed in depth, in order to know the necessary concepts to be able to understand the proposed IT incident management model. In the third chapter, the problem that the organization presents is analyzed, in order to know its current situation, and a risk analysis is carried out in order to determine the possible threats that may materialize. The fourth chapter develops the IT incident management model applying international standards and good practices, which consists of five phases within which activities and tasks are established for each phase. In the fifth chapter, the In the fifth chapter, the validations and tests corresponding to each specific objective are carried out. Finally, the conclusions and recommendations of this work are provided.
