Since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic, most of the organizations have progressively migrated to a home office modality to continue wiht their operations on a regular basis. However, there are various sectors, such as private security, that demand on-site work. In this case, this investigation was carried out with a private security company from Chile, where the health regulation implemented due to Covid-19 were like those imposed in Peru, reactivating business through phases. The objective was to understand the role of the leadder in the internal communication strategy during the Covid-19 pandemic, to identify if the figure of the leader was more or less relevant regarding the communication, digitalization and employee commitment toward the organization itself. Qualitative research was carried out through indepth interviews with administratvie collaborators, for which a semistructured guide of quiestions was used. According to the interviews, it´s understood that the leader´s figure was of great relevance during the time in which teleworking was applied, sicne it oversaw maintaining a work enviroment of trust and constat communication. On the other hand, the communication strategy played a very important role because it allowed the different teams to stay aligned with the work culture and strengthen their work engagement.
