The Peruvian textile industry is one of the most important economic developers in the country. It grants more than 463 thousand jobs and contributes 7.4% of the Industrial GDP. Of this sector, 95% are made up of micro and small companies. Most of the companies that make up this sector are made up of family groups. They do not develop or apply precise knowledge to carry out a production model that optimizes service levels and productivity standards. This research presents as a proposal to this problem, a production model in the clothing industry combining SIPOC, VSM, 5S techniques and a production system in conjunction with managed outsourcing of processes based on Lean Manufacturing. Increasing the profitability of companies in the short term and making them sustainable over time is the objective. The proposed model is validated through a pilot test in a random company in the clothing sector. In this way, the results indicate an increase in productivity by 59% and the fulfillment of deliveries increases by 48%. Likewise, scenarios are compared with data from other companies, in which productivity is improved by an average of 4% per year. The proposed production model shows a significant improvement in the production system and provides a model for this type of company.
