This research is carried out under the context where we live in an unequal society and one of them is the gender role and what each one represents. In turn, various authors agree that the sports field is a field that belongs to men and that women have little or no presence in that sector. That is why the present study seeks to identify gender stereotypes in the conductors of Peruvian television sports programs from the perspective of the producers. For this, these stereotypes are approached from three aspects: capacities, identity and their position according to gender. The methodology proposed in this research is qualitative in nature. For this reason, various questions were asked to some national television sports producers in order to know their perception. It is likely that the final result concludes that there are certain parameters for a woman to be part of a sports program where she highlights, apart from her knowledge on the subject, her external beauty.
