The main objective of the research was to analyze the graphic elements employed in the infographics published on MINSA's social networks to communicate health risks during the COVID-19 pandemic in the years 2020 and 2021. In order to identify and describe these elements, a visual analysis sheet was carried out, complemented with interviews to professionals with experience in information design and infographics elaboration. Among the main results, it was found that these health infographics are characterized by using a language that is easy for users to understand, accompanied by graphic elements such as sans serif typography, red, blue and green colors, vector illustrations and maps according to the communicative purpose, generally aimed to health risk prevention. In conclusion, this research provides a practical contribution for health institutions and graphic designers who wish to communicate health information in a brief, effective way, creating greater interaction with their target audience. In addition, it opens the possibility for further research on how graphic design can be used for social purposes.
