The present research work aims to know the barriers that limited the exports of Brazil Nuts from Madre de Dios through the South Interoceanic Highway during the period 2015 - 2019. To this end, throughout this study the main objective is to understand the relevance of access to credit, entrepreneurial capacity, logistics and customs operations as limiting barriers to exports of Brazil Nuts from Madre de Dios through the South Interoceanic Highway during the period 2015 - 2019. Likewise, the qualitative phenomenological design was applied with explanatory scope and a search was made for information from secondary sources, including the antecedents. Then, the problematic reality shows the reasons to delve into the limitations on chestnut exports. Additionally, the problems, objectives and hypotheses were formulated, which will give an answer to the research question. Regarding the search for primary sources, semi-structured interviews were conducted with interest groups. Subsequently, the Atlas.ti software was used for the analysis of the information obtained, which was contrasted with the background of the theoretical framework. After analyzing the information, it was possible to understand the relevance of the barriers that limit Brazil Nut exports from Madre de Dios through the South Interoceanic Highway. In this sense, the first barrier corresponds to access to credit, followed by logistics and customs operations, and finally, entrepreneurial capacity.
