To survive over time, companies must have the ability to be flexible and face market changes quickly and efficiently. Organizations, regardless of the sector, are forced to continuously redesign and optimize their production, logistics and commercial processes in order to stay current in a market oriented by globalization. Even more, in companies with seasonal demand, such as those that offer editorial products, demanding an analysis in the management of the supply chain, since it can become a key point to reduce late orders. This research project exposes the opportunities for improvement found in an editorial company, which will serve as a case study for the processes involved in calculating the forecast of demand and planning production. With this, it seeks to propose tools focused on BPM, whose objective is to improve performance and process optimization, seeking to integrate business and technology strategies. In addition, forecasting methods, according to the behavior of the editorial product and the seasonality of the demand. Seek to reduce the error of over-stock or lack of stock, giving more importance to recent historical sales.
