Inventory management takes center stage as a core part of the supply system of companies, whose objective is to satisfy the demand for products and services, becoming one of the determining activities of the success of any organization. For that reason, it is necessary to make timely decisions, to carry out an agile and efficient inventory management; This aspect constitutes the main motivation for the development of this work, which seeks to guarantee uninterrupted customer service. The applied methodology has an explanatory and qualitative approach, which is based on the collection of 67 items from quartile 1. This research seeks to specify the variables that influence inventory agility. The work is structured in sections, each one developed with scientific rigor, in the “method” section a compilation of the authors' methodological approach is made to evaluate factors such as efficiency, uncertainty, planning and flexibility related to inventory management. The “theoretical background“ section highlights the main theories and concepts that studied the aforementioned factors. Subsequently, the “analysis and results“ of the evaluation of the approaches and approaches of the authors considered in the study are exposed and finally there is the “discussion and conclusions“ section in which the main derivations of the study are shown in which It is concluded that organizations are largely influenced by uncertainty and that it forces companies to rethink their operations in order to satisfy demand.
