The project was born out of the motivation to provide support to a group of vulnerable people with problems. Thus, the project focuses on students coming from provinces, who live in Lima and have to rent rooms to study. A large percentage of them have emotional problems that affect their student performance, in some cases leading them to drop out university. Family detachment at an early age, lack of integration, lack of supervision, lack of spaces that provide a good quality of life, are some of the factors of the problem. The project tries to provide solutions from the architectural side, generating spaces that satisfy their needs and integrate them into society through public spaces that stimulate participation and generate a sense of belonging. In this sense, the project is an urban-architectural intervention proposal that takes place between two large parks, “El Campo de Marte” and “La Reserva Park”. The research propose to develop a university residence with complementary uses which is integrated within the urban context and contributes to provide public spaces for coexistence. Therefore, a commercial plinth is proposed to stimulate business activity in the area, public integration and participatory patios, an office tower and the university residence at the top.
