Nowadays, agriculture has been affected by globalization and new market demands, resulting in small producers being forced to increase their productivity to reach their required sales levels. It is for this reason that it is needed to design a management model that allows the harvested products to meet the expectations of the market. Particularly, tools which are used to facilitate the production of vegetables with high demand in the local market, such as pumpkins. This research develops the Quality Management based on Process Management, Human Resources Management, Customer Relationship and Supplier Relationship aligned with the best agriculture practices. Along with the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis to analyze factors affecting soil, water, fertilizer use and pumpkin care, to improve the functioning of the supply chain in the cultivation of this product.
