Abstract: La identidad organizacional es un fenómeno relativamente nuevo que continúa atrayendo la atención y la implementación en las organizaciones. Si bien la comunicación ha sido identificada como un factor que incide en la obtención de la identidad, son pocas las investigaciones científicas que se han centrado únicamente en la relación entre ambas. Teniendo esto en cuenta, este estudio buscó encontrar si existe una relación entre la comunicación interna y el compromiso de los empleados. Los resultados indicaron que existe una relación positiva entre los factores de comunicación interna y los factores de compromiso de los empleados, por lo que ayudan a obtener la identidad organizacional. Se encontró que la comunicación interna está vinculada a la identidad organizacional y al trabajo significativo y todos los factores de compromiso. Finalmente, se pudo concluir con este proyecto de investigación que se analizó el nivel de comunicación interna en la Oficina de Relaciones Internacionales de la Universidad WSB, donde se identificó que existe una alta frecuencia de percepción relacionada con los indicadores de la variable comunicación interna.
Organizational identity is a relatively new phenomenon that continues to attract attention and implementation in organizations. While communication has been identified as a factor affecting to get the identity, there are few scientific research has focused solely on the relationship between the two. Taking this into account, this study sought to find if there is a relationship between internal communication and employee engagement. The results indicated that there is a positive relationship between internal communication factors and employee engagement factors, so help to obtain organizational identity. Current research found that internal communication is linked to organizational identity and meaningful work; all the compromise factors. Finally, it was possible to conclude with this research project that the level of internal communication was analyzed at WSB University International Relations Office, where it was identified that there is a high frequency of perception related to the indicators of the internal communication variable, Often (58.43% average) and regarding the level of organizational identity, it is concluded that there is a good level because the average 81.82% of the respondents affirmed this, this percentage results from taking into account each indicator of the variables based on the highest frequency scales which are (Always and Often).
