The purpose of the following study is to examine the relationship between the organizational image of the National Police and burnout syndrome or the “burn for work“ syndrome of law enforcement officers of the National Police of Peru (PNP). The police profession is considered to be associated with work stress due to various stressors in which they are involved, the lack of community support, the image of the institution to which they belong. In response to these factors, the police officer may develop prolonged stress known as burnout syndrome and is reflected in a tendency to be dissatisfied with his work. The investigation methods used to portray the situation will be of a qualitative and quantitative approach, carried out on police officers.
