Abstract: El presente estudio cualitativo analizará los factores que generan que las iglesias evangélicas se adapten a la era digital a través del uso de canales digitales como redes sociales, páginas web, podcasts, blogs, transmisiones en vivo, etc. Para ello, se explorará la influencia del perfil del líder, de los miembros de la iglesia y los referentes externos, y la disponibilidad de recursos como factores determinantes para su adaptación. Esta investigación presentará un paradigma interpretativo y un diseño fenomenológico, cuya técnica de recolección de información será la entrevista semiestructurada. Los participantes para este estudio serán 15 pastores de diferentes iglesias evangélicas en el Perú, los cuales son los principales líderes y tomadores de decisión en estas. Asimismo, los participantes seleccionados lideran iglesias que presentan una adaptación continua hacia la tecnología y una estrategia desarrollada para gestionar sus canales digitales. Esta investigación presentará una importancia práctica para las iglesias que desean implementar canales digitales, pero no saben cómo empezar ni qué factores considerar para comenzar su proceso de digitalización.
This qualitative study will analyze the factors that make evangelical churches adapt to the digital age through the use of digital channels such as social networks, websites, podcasts, blogs, live broadcasts, etc. To do this, the influence of the leader's profile, of the members of the congregation, and external referents, and the availability of resources will be explored as determining factors for their adaptation. This research will present an interpretive paradigm and a phenomenological design, whose information collection technique will be semi-structured interview. The participants for this study will be 15 pastors from different evangelical churches in Peru, who are the main leaders and decision makers in the congregations. Also, the selected participants lead congregations that present a continuous adaptation to technology and a developed management of digital media such as social networks, web pages, blogs, podcasts, live broadcasts, and others. This research will present practical importance for religious congregations that want to implement digital channels, but do not know how to start or what factors to consider to begin their digitization process.
