The present investigation consists of a cross-sectional and correlational non-experimental design, the objective is to identify the attitudes towards death and work motivation in nurses who attend oncological patients. Nursing graduates participated (N = 150) with an age range of 25 to 55 years, who were administered the Questionnaire of attitudes to death (Vizcarra, 2012) and the Labor Motivation Scale of (Gagné, Forest, Gilbert , Aubé, Morin, & Malorni, 2012), to then establish the relationship between both variables. The analysis and data processing applied descriptive and inferential statistical techniques. The results show that the relationship between both variables is non-existent. With respect to the comparisons, married and married professionals have positive attitudes towards the performance of their work. Likewise, the absence of investigations involving both variables was identified to be able to contrast them in the discussion.
