This research presents as a professional project the National Center for Musical Diffusion in the Center of Lima, Peru, where knowledge and musical production of all genres, both traditional and contemporary, are promoted. In the first section the presentation of the topic, problems and objectives of the research is carried out. The second includes the theoretical - referential framework where the importance of musical diffusion is exposed, the institutions linked to it in Peru are identified, and the manuals and regulations associated with the type of musical center are presented. In addition, referential projects are analyzed in terms of typology and emphasis, which allow enriching the proposal of the National Center for Musical Diffusion. The third section constitutes the conceptual framework, in which the concept of Blurring Limits in Architecture (Ito, 2006) is developed in depth as an emphasis of research and design strategies associated with this concept are proposed. On the other hand, in the fourth section the study of the place in which the project will be located is carried out, considering the criteria indicated in the urban file. Later, the fifth section consists of the study of the users of the project. In the sixth section the architectural program is presented and the spaces with which it will count, as well as its characteristics and specifications are detailed. Finally, the conclusions of the investigation are presented in the seventh section, one for each chapter developed; and the design criteria.
