The aim of the study was to carry out a bibliometric analysis of the scientific publications from the Redalyc.org database to determine current information on scientific articles in Psychology about work addiction. First, we research the variable using the following criteria: Portuguese, Spanish and English with 10-year seniority (2009-2019), finding a total of 19 articles, which 10 were removed for not belong to the quantitative methodology and not having a sample placed in America. This left us four articles related to the variable, which are part of the sample of this study. Then, the data analysis was performed by calculating frequencies, percentages, and an analysis of the information obtained. The results show us that one hundred percent of studies contain abstract in two different languages, keywords, introduction and objectives. We conclude that bibliometrics is a valuable and useful tool, making information from previous research noticeable in order to contribute to the development and advance of Peruvian's science.
