The hospital infrastructure makes up one of the main real estate assets, allowing the provision of health services to the population, which is why importance should be given to their planning, construction and maintenance processes, which guarantee their optimal operation, by implementing modern technologies and methodologies to achieve better results, both economically and technically. Given the importance and complexity of hospital infrastructures, due to the different specialties, equipment and special conditions, simultaneous contrast and coordination is imperative to reduce risks and improve efficiency in the final product, therefore, this thesis will provide a diagnosis on the application of tools such as Lean Construction and BIM in the construction of Hospitals, and based on these experiences, a work methodology will be proposed from the conception of the project to the delivery of the work, based on the mentioned tools, with the aim of guaranteeing better yields, savings and profits for executor of Hospital Work. The case study, aimed at health care projects of the second order of national attention, shows that public investment construction projects can improve their management but it is necessary to intervene in improvements from the pre-investment stage, taking into account that Currently, the Regional and Local Governments still use traditional methodologies, which is why through this work we seek that the Peruvian State encourages and promotes the use of these tools, implementing norms or regulations that standardize their use.
