The project proposes a day centre and residence aimed at the elderly, covering their basic needs such as housing, food, recreation and health. The project starts with the objective of generating an interaction between the user and the community, avoiding the elderly to feel isolated from society, forming an architecture with a permeable limit towards the environment to achieve a better relationship with it. The establishment was designed with the established architectural requirements in the standard and supported with reference examples to guide the design process. The project, as a volume, understood the typologies of the site and tried not to highlight negatively in the immediate environment, adapting to it and taking advantage of the already existing characteristics. The research is also based on the study of the psycho-physical characteristics of the user, which set the guidelines for the program, areas and zoning in the design of the project. Likewise, green areas, patios and terraces predominate as living and staying areas, which are found at all levels of the project where different activities are carried out.
