The corporate social responsibility is a concept that guides the conduct of the organizations and increases the competitiveness – reduces risks, increases the motivation, protects the environment – and cares about the perceptions of the different interest groups (Argenti, 2014; Díaz, Filomeno & Rizo Patrón, 2007). In that process, communication meets a fundamental role, because it informs and generates agreement between the community and the company. The aim of this project was to get analize the perception of the locals of three communities of the province of San Vicente de Cañete about the strategies of communication that a company from the industrial field uses as a part of its social responsibility’s politics. The methodology of investigation uses the naturalist paradigm and qualitative approach. 11 in-depth interviews were specifically held, 2 of them towards the organization and 9 towards the community. The locals, for the most part, have the perception that the mains used by the company are useless because the language and information used is not understandable. The company focuses on displaying information strategies only and does not make post- delivery studies to ascertain the acceptance of the means employed.
