The present study seeks to determine a calculation methodology that allows to pre-size the width of a square shoe for a 115 kV high-voltage tower founded on rock massif and reinforced with anchor bolts to provide technical-economic advantages in transmission line projects. For this, a parametric analysis is performed where approximately 93.65% of parameters are set that intervene in the entire process for the geotechnical design, which have a low level of incidence in the process, so it is feasible to apply common values or typical The investigation determined that it is possible to pre-size the footings from the parameters of the rock mass on which the tower will be based, mainly on the specific weight and Uniaxial Compressive Strength (UCS) of the rock.
