During the last decades, the standardization of procedures for the preparation and injection of cementitious grout for wall anchoring systems, has been increasingly developed. However, there is still a need to optimize the formulation and performance of these cementitious grouts in terms of their mechanical and workability properties. In this research work a range of mix designs with Portland cement type I contents between 980.97 kg / m³ and 1348.39 kg / m³, water cement ratio (a / c) between 0.35-0.60 and two mixtures with superplasticizer additive of 0.8% of cement weight. The parameters of fluidity, stability (exudation), and resistance to compression were evaluated at the age of 7 days, according to the technical requirements of the UNE and ACI regulations. Finally, the optimum range of a / c ratio is determined for the current requirements of building projects.
