Objetive: To determine the employment situation, occupational and educational factors of graduates of the dental career of a private university of Lima in the last 6 years. Materials and methods: 146 graduates of the dental career of a private university in Lima were evaluated. The employment situation was evaluated through a survey consisting of 11 questions, which are divided into: 6 questions that correspond to the occupational factor, 3 about the educational factor and 2 about satisfaction. Proportions were calculated for qualitative variables. For the quantitative variable (age), central tendency measures (mean or median) were used. Results: The employment status of the graduates was determined, which was 95.8%, in where 46 (31.51%) men and 100 women (68.49%) participated. Likewise, in the occupational factor it was found that an average of 79.29% of graduates are dedicated to care work. It was also found in the variable educational factor that the average of 19 (13.57%) graduates have completed their specialty studies. In addition, in the variable academic satisfaction an average of 89 (63.57%) of graduates who present a work feel satisfied with the academic training. Conclusions: 95.8% of graduates are currently working. However, the results found do not represent the population of Lima.
