This research work aims at analyzing the representation of queer sexuality in the Latin-American and Peninsular Spanish dubbing of the drama series Orange Is the New Black. We start from the premise that there is greater visibility of queer representation in English, since this community has developed a broader distinctive lexicon in comparison with other languages. The research was based on three methodologies: methodology integrates case study, content analysis, and contrastive analysis. On the one hand, the case study is multiple and holistic, because we will contrast the original version with the two dubbed Spanish versions, focusing on the representation of queer sexuality. In addition, it is considered holistic because it has only one research unit, which is queer sexuality. On the other hand, content analysis will be used to identify the instances of representation of queer sexuality in the source language. Finally, the contrastive text analysis will be used to assess the translation of audiovisual, considering the similarities and differences regarding the representation of queer sexuality.
