The purpose of this research work is to demonstrate the effect of inequality and poverty on economic growth in Peru during the 2004 - 2019 period. In order to demonstrate this effect, Peru's economic growth was used as a dependent variable and as independent variables inequality and average real income per capita, for both cases annual series were compiled by department. To improve the model, we have included the control variable Education in Peru. using a regression model, which had to correct the problems of heterocedasticity and autocorrelation, through the use of a logarithmic correction, which allowed us to conclude that a variation in monetary poverty affects income inequality by 6.88%. As well as, if a variability of the gross domestic product were presented, it would impact the level of inequality at 6.31%. reaffirming that, the less equality there is in a country, the less effective economic growth will be to reduce poverty. After assessing the results of the model and the situation analyzed, the following actions are recommended: Design and implement a policy of productive investments in disadvantaged sectors, in order to reduce the gaps in inequality and economic growth, it is not about subsidizing, but rather to generate entrepreneurships, as well as Strengthen technical capacities of organization and access to markets, eliminating barriers and cost overruns for business formalization, since there is evidence of a presence of the informal issue, which does not allow education to have an immediate effect on growth economic
