The objective of this present cohort and prospective analytical observational research is to analyze whether good adherence to multimicronutrient consumption increases the hemoglobin of children between 6 and 36 months of age with anemia. Being the most frequent anemia in this age group due to its accelerated growth, the health institutions of Peru have implemented the Food Supplement Program with multimicronutrients in the child's diet, however in many cases of children of the program there has not been evidence of improvement of anemia. This study was carried out in 5 strategic hospitals of EsSalud Trujillo with a sample size of 98 calculated using a statistical formula, where of the total number of children with anemia they were divided into two groups according to whether they showed adherence or not to the exposure factor (multimicronutrient consumption); then perform a comparison of the value of the hemoglobin at the beginning of the program and after 6 months of consumption of the multimicronutrients. The data collected and processed in the SPSS version 23 program presented by frequency tables, and analyzed with relative risk, allow us to conclude that adherence to multimicronutrient consumption increases hemoglobin in children between 6 and 36 months of age with anemia.
