The present work was developed in Campus II of the Antenor Orrego Private University of Trujillo, located in the district of Laredo in the town of Nuevo Barraza in the Santa Catalina valley conditions. In the present investigation ““effect of the application of three doses of the growth regulator Phyllum® on the production and quality of Lactuca sativa L. (asteraceae) in conditions of the Santa Catalina valley, the experimental design of completely random blocks was used. With four treatments and four repetitions. Lettuce is a food required in our diet because it provides little energy, but are rich in fiber, vitamins and minerals as well as having phytonutrients such as flavonoids, carotenoids, lutein, terfenos, anthocyanins and sulfurates that offer protection against diseases. In addition, it contains magnesium that acts as a calcium and phosphorus fixative in bone structures. The tendency of consumers of vegetables such as lettuce is to manage quality products, safe, free of agrochemicals, which is generating a great demand in the organic production system. Carrying out the research work, it can be concluded that the application of three doses of the Phyllum® regulator affected the production and quality of the lettuce in conditions of the Santa Catalina valley. It was observed effects on the height of the plant 24 days after the application of Phyllum® is affected is like applying 4 L/ha T 2 of Phyllum®, the plants get up to 23.83 cm While the witness without application only 20.63 cm is 3.20 cm less. Regarding the number of leaves it is observed that the application of Phyllum® causes a greater formation of these per plant so we have to apply 3 L/ha (T 1 ), 4 L/ha (T 2 ) and 5 L/ha (T 3 ) 17.85, 17.68 and 16.85 units are formed while the treatment without application only 13.63 units. For what is the stem diameter, the same tendency is observed, that is, the application of Phyllum® had a relative effect on it, since with 5 L/ha the diameter of the stem is 2.86 cm while without application it is only 2.27 cm. Regarding leaf length we see that there is also a favorable situation because the application of 3 L/ha of Phyllum® favored a sheet of 20.88 cm while the treatment without application only 18.40 cm. For what is the width of the leaf there is a similarity of action because applying 3 L/ha of Phyllum® the leaf gets 24.35 cm while without application it achieved only 21.75 cm. The production of lettuce as a result of the application of the growth regulator Phyllum® in different doses had an effect where it indicates that in T 3 (5 L/ha) in 83,333 plants per hectare was achieved 29,166.55 Kg/ha, followed by T 2 (4 L/ha) that reached 25,833.23 Kg/ha, in third place, the T 4 (control of the application) with 23,333.24 Kg/ha and lastly the T 1 (3 L/ha) with 19,166.59 Kg/ha.
