The objective of this thesis was to apply the balance chart method to improve productivity in construction processes of shoring and anchored walls in buildings in Trujillo, the process consisted of measuring field work times, which are subdivided into Productive Work (TP), Contributing Work (TC) and Non-Contributing Work (TNC); After applying the balance charts and productivity ratios, the results obtained were analyzed and improvements were subsequently proposed; finally, the balance charts were taken again and the productivity ratios were also measured to obtain the final results. This study involved 3 buildings in the city of Trujillo. In the first building, the type of support used was ANCHORED WALLS, in this building the balance charts and productivity ratios were applied for 4 items, which are massive excavation, manual profiling, anchors and concrete injection and pouring, then the respective improvements were applied, with which we applied again the measurements using these two tools and finally the results of before and after the improvements were compared with which positive results were obtained. On the other hand, the other two buildings were analyzed, which are the Solano project and the Gardenias project, these two buildings used the types of support called CALZADURAS. For the two shoring projects we applied the balance charts and the productivity ratios, which allowed us to perform the initial measurements of both the TP, TC and TNC percentages; also the quantification through the productivity ratios; and after a thorough analysis of the results of both the balance charts and the ratios, we proposed improvements to increase productivity; finally we applied again these two LEAN tools with which we compared initial results with the final results and we could analyze how much we have improved. It is important to emphasize that the two buildings were built at different times, so we were very careful not to make the same mistakes, which is why in the Solano building, being the last project, the final results were better than the Gardenias building.
