In this present thesis to obtain the Degree of Architect; it is developed, on an integral way, the Architectural Project named “CENTRO DE INTERPRETACIÓN E INVESTIGACIÓN DE LA ORQUÍDEA EN EL BOSQUE DE LOS NIÑOS, MOYOBAMBA, DEPARTAMENTO DE SAN MARTÍN”, which is proposed as an equipment that will allow the touristic and research development of the province of Moyobamba, in addition to contribute to the conservation of its representative species, that’s why its location is a strategic place in Moyobamba, which allows the creation of a new optimal infrastructure; allowing, then, to involve a natural área in the development of the conservation culture. The project is promoted and financed by the Dirección Regional de Comercio Exterior y Turismo of San Martín, the Instituto para el Desarrollo, Investigación y Conservación del Medio Ambiente “Hijos de San Martín” and the Municipalidad Provincial de Moyobamba. In the Bosque de los Niños en Moyobamba and in the city itself; various promotional activities are already being developed for a culture of conservation, research activities and environmental education; in which the majority of the population is involved; but all of these are developed in an unadapted environment, without infrastructure or equipment that allows a better development of the activities just mencioned. Moyobamba is an important focus for the development of a culture of conservation; however, it does not have the rigth infrastructure for them. For this reason, a programmatic investigation was carried out resulting in the proposal of a feasible project, since it will develop buildings and equipment that respond to the aforementioned needs. In addition, the project will be focused on creating the corresponding infrastructure: a research, interpretation and training sector. Finally, through the interpretation and research center, it seeks to generate processes or functions that support conservation activities, allow species research and enhance the turistic value of the area.
