The purpose of this research is to describe the incidence of the addition of hydrated lime on the Mostazas - Chocán road. The type of research was applied-quantitative. The design was quasi-experimental. The study population was the quarry Sole II - Higuerón, located in the district of Paimas, province of““ Ayabaca, the quarry material was the sample as a pattern and its addition of 2%, 5% and 10% of hydrated lime by weight. The sampling for research purposes was non-probabilistic. During its development, this research has taken into account ““previous studies, the performance of backfilling with affirmation, the laboratory tests and the administrative work““. According to the granulometry the main results obtained are ““A-1-a (0) without the content of hydrated lime and A-2-4 (0), A-1-b (0) and A-I-b (b) by the ΑΑSHTO method““, each containing ““2%, 5% and 10 % respectively. Relative to the modified p r o c t o r, they show densities of 2.19 g / c m 3, 2.22 g / c m 3 and 2.24 g / c m 3 and optimum moistures of 7.8%, 6.2% and 5%. In CBR tests, the improvements““ with respect to 100% DSM were 48%, 60% and 38%. As for compaction density, ““field tests using the sand cone method were used to determine the degree of compaction, giving values of 88.5%, 91.8% and 97.0% respectively, corrected for an optimum moisture content of““ 6.45%, 7.87% and 6.03%. In conclusion, for the addition of 5% by weight of hydrated lime in samples, it improves the ““physical and mechanical““ properties of the pavement, which influences as a binding factor and improves the BCR of the pavement and its compaction quality.
