General Objective: To determine the risk factors of patients with chronic kidney disease who attend the emergency service for hypertensive crisis at the Jorge Reátegui Delgado hospital - Piura 2019. Material and Method: Analytical, Observational, Cross-sectional, Prospective Study of Cases and Controls with primary data collection in patients with Chronic Kidney Disease treated at Hospital II-1 Jorge Reátegui Delgado in 2019 with and without episodes of Crisis / Hypertensive Emergency. Results: 320 studied patients divided into 160 patients from the case group and 160 from the control group; the most found age range was present between 56 to 70 years (25 cases / 50% total population) with a total average for the age of 56. We found an association for variables such as age over 45 (p: 0.04), diabetes mellitus 2 (p: 0.048), systolic blood pressure> 126 mmHg (p: 0.04), glucose> 115mg / dl (p: 0.01), values creatinine higher than 3.8 mg / dl (p: 0.003) and for the Morisky-Green Test, mainly forgetfulness of the medication (p: 0.02) can generate both Hypertensive and Emergency Emergencies. Conclusion: There are associated risk factors for the development of hypertensive crisis such as Age over 45 (p: 0.04), Diabetes Mellitus 2 (p: 0.048), a Systolic Blood pressure> 126 mmHg (p: 0.04), glucose> 115mg / dl (p: 0.01), creatinine values greater than 3.8 mg / dl (p: 0.003) and for the Morisky-Green Test, mainly forgetfulness of the medication (p: 0.02) can generate both emergencies and emergencies Hypertensive.
