This civil engineering thesis project, guided to construction materials área, is an investigation that will have as a sample the concrete slabs f´c 300 kg/cm2 to which we will add altered fibers of high density plastic bottles with the main objective of reduce the cracks that commonly generate in these. We will first analyze the concrete slabs f´c 300 kg/cm2 without add the fiber, counting and measuring the cracks with an instrument that are generated in a 24 +- 2 hours period and later compare them with the analysis of concrete slabs f´c 300 kg/cm2 sample cracks adding the altered fibers of high density plastic bottles. To end, I will make a comparative chart in which I will prove the hypothesis or not that consist in the 20% reduction of cracks in concrete slabs f´c 300 kg/cm2 with the altered fibers of high density plastic bottles.
