With the objective of determining the factors associated with work stress that influence the quality of nursing care in emergency services at Belen Hospital de Trujillo, 2022, a descriptive and causal relationship research and cross-sectional design was developed. 32 nurses participated, finding job stress at a predominantly moderate level (62.5%) and the quality of nursing care as Good (53.1%). It is concluded that the factors associated with work stress that have a direct influence at a moderate and significant level (p<0.05) are partnerlabour factors, such as length of service, excess workload, lack of leadership and instability of norms. labor; psycholabour factors for the presentation of signs or disorders of anxiety and insomnia and lack of attention to mental health and; the factors of technological, computer and cognitive access, such as the limited knowledge for diagnosis, treatment and follow-up and the cumbersome procedures for registration, referral and counter-referral of patients.
