In order to determine if there is a relationship between psychosocial factors and the level of stress in the workers of the Metropolitan CAP III EsSalud of Trujillo, a descriptive cross-sectional study was carried out in which 64 workers of the mentioned health establishment were interviewed. to whom two questionnaires were applied, one related to the level of stress and the other to psychosocial factors. The statistical test used was the Chi square, setting the significance level at P<0.05. It was found that: The level of stress in the workers of the CAP III Metropolitan EsSalud of Trujillo in 2019 was high (48.4%). The psychosocial factors of the workers under study were: unfavorable psychological demands (64.1%), unfavorable control over work (51.6%), unfavorable insecurity about the future (56.3%), unfavorable social support and quality of leadership (40.6%), double favorable presence (48.4%) and unfavorable estimate (59.4%). Finally, the psychosocial factors psychological demands, control over work, insecurity about the future and esteem were significantly related to the level of stress among workers (P<0.001).
