The present investigation entitled “DEVELOPMENT OF SOFT SKILLS AND THEIR CONTRIBUTION TO THE LABOR PERFORMANCE OF THE EMPLOYEES OF CAJA PIURA YEAR 2020“, had as its main objective to determine how soft skills contribute to the work performance of Caja Piura employees year 2020. The beginning of the research was the development of the study problem, with which the following question was reached: In what way do soft skills contribute to the work performance of the employees of Caja Piura in 2020? The following hypothesis was raised: Soft skills contribute significantly to the performance of Caja Piura employees in 2020. The following specific objectives were proposed: Identify the soft skills of Caja Piura employees in 2020, Identify performance work of the employees of Caja Piura year 2020 and Analyze the contribution of skills Soft ades in the performance of the employees of Caja Piura in 2020. This research is of a basic explanatory-causal type, for data collection the survey was used, through its instrument the questionnaire. The sample under study was of 30 collaborators. And it was mainly concluded that the development of soft skills contributes to the work performance of employees according to the value of the chi-square 22.599, which means that it has a moderate degree of contribution in this sense, the affirmative hypothesis was approved.
