The research work has been developed due to the problems that the sectors of Zaraque, La Gloria and El Socorro of the town of Viru are going through, who are supplied with water through cisterns and artisanal wells and their sewage is based on the use of septic tanks/latrines, so it is necessary to design drinking water and sewage systems as an alternative solution. The data was collected in the field where it was obtained that the current population is 2,332 inhabitants and 472 homes. The necessary calculations were carried out for a design period of 20 years, resulting in a future population for the year 2041 of 2892 inhabitants. Likewise, the topographic study was analyzed where it was concluded that the land has a flat and semi-flat topography; The quality study of the water source was analyzed in which it was concluded that the water requires simple chlorination to be suitable for human consumption. The drinking water system is a pumped system. The catchment will be located in Zaraque and a 25 HP submersible pump will be used, to supply drinking water continuously, the construction of a reservoir supported in the upper part of Zaraque is proposed; There is a drive line of 2063.14 ml of 6” diameter class 10 PVC pipe. In addition, the different flow rates were found whose results are Qp=3.347 lt/s, Qmd= 4.351 lt/s and Qmh=6.694 lt/s, Qaforo source flow=14.62 lt/s and Vasum reservoir volume=80 m3. It was determined that the sewer network will be divided into two zones; one of the Zaraque-La Gloria sectors, which will have a sewer network with pipes with a nominal diameter of 1600, 200 and 250 mm and the other, the El Socorro sector must discharge its wastewater into the new sewer network in the urban area of Viru, this to avoid crossing the mother channel of the Chavimochic special project
