The objective of this work is to implement the use of BIM technology in the context of road infrastructure projects, which are considered very important for the development of the country. They are the means of communication and the main base of commercial exchanges that lead to the socioeconomic improvement of cities. A linear or road project is the source of greatest importance or scale to mobilize people, resources or products from the furthest point to the final meeting point. That is why road construction aims to search with technical tools. A balance between the time and the cost incurred by a given number of passengers and goods. By applying BIM techniques during the road design phase, visualization issues and discrepancies can be identified and resolved. Geometry of specific geographic areas not simplified in other 2D programs (for better modeling and work planning). Field data is often corrupted when planning. cause delays and cost overruns. When asked if they were related to the topic of sustainable construction, the answers were mostly divided, with 11 people saying yes (52.2%) and 10 people saying no (47.6%). However, when asked if they knew anything about the predetermined minimum percentages for water and energy savings, only four (19%) did. This result really worries me, since it assumed the EM Technical Standard. 110, that the standard applies to new construction. In most cases, it is highlighted that it is not fulfilled, so it is said that it has been accepted, and according to the results, the main reason for its existence is ignorance of the subject (66%) and ignorance of its benefits. (57%).
