Objective: To determine the epidemiological and surgical characteristics in postoperated double incision laparoscopic cholecystectomy patients. Material and Method: An observational, analytical and cross-sectional study was carried out; According to the selection criteria, 195 post-operated doubleincision laparoscopic cholecystectomy patients were included at the Jorge Reátegui Delgado Hospital - Piura, during the 2014-2018 period. Data was collected from the medical records of the identified patients, these were stored first in files and then in a virtual matrix, for the analysis are performed descriptive statistics, bivariate comparisons and non-parametric correlations, using the SPSS v.23 software. Results: The average age was 45 years, there was a higher proportion of female patients (77.4%), the most frequent comorbidities were arterial hypertension (66.7%), obesity (22.6%) and diabetes (10.8 %); only 14.9% had a history of previous surgery. The main surgical indications were gallstone disease and cholecystitis; Colelap was performed only in 92.8% of the patients, in the rest it was accompanied by additional procedures. The mean operative time was 128 minutes, 64.6% of the patients were discharged during the first postoperative day and in 67.7% of the patients regional anesthesia was used. The operating time showed a moderate positive correlation with the hospital stay (Rho: 0.563, p <0.001). Conclusions: Laparoscopic double-incision cholecystectomy presented epidemiological characteristics similar to the vesicular pathologies in which it is indicated; the longer the operative time increased the length of hospital stay
