The present research work is focused on the construction project management branch, for its development data obtained from the modeling made in the Revit software in a LOD 400 and Naviswork has been used, which allows us to identify interferences between the different specialties. involved in the reservoir project with a capacity of 2,100 m3. As is well known, a large number of projects are currently being developed with traditional models in AutoCAD, which maintain a sequence: Design - Bidding - Construction. In the design stage they involve different specialists, who make their presentation of plans at a minimum level of detail which complicates the correct interpretation by the professional in charge of executing the project or, failing that, by the relevant operators. A common error is design deficiencies, which are nothing more than coordination conflicts between the different specialties that make up a project, in turn, errors in the contractual documents, which generates the lack of constructability. That is why it is proposed to implement the BIM methodology and develop the real virtual construction of the project at a LOD 400 (level of development). Where we will identify and reduce the deficiencies, making a correct use of resources, managing to optimize the model and thus improve constructability aspects, such as the agglomeration of steel in critical points previously identified in the structural model, as well as the location of the formwork and other points of the different games. Once the most critical points have been identified, the model is updated with all the changes made so that it has a correct start-up. Reducing existing deficiencies and avoiding losses not only in material, but also in time at the time of project execution. The BIM model can be taken as the next step after the computer aided design ““CAD““ in which it shows us lines, arcs, 2D two-dimensional symbols for the representation of objects, which we have to interpret. Unlike a BIM software in which it shows us in parallel the 3D construction of the elements that make up a construction project, which in turn depends on the LOD in which the elements are modeled, they contain information such as lengths, volume, area, weight , quantities, material, etc. x Keywords: BIM, LOD, Reservoir, constructability
