This study sought to determine the effectiveness of an educational intervention in the level of knowledge about cervical cancer prevention in adolescents of the Hermanos Blanco school. Trujillo, 2019. The research was quantitative, descriptive, pre-experimental design. A test was applied to 26 adolescents selected according to inclusion and exclusion criteria. Of which it was obtained that 46% are 15 years old and 54% are 16 years old; 42% received information on measures to prevent cervical cancer, while 58% did not. The level of knowledge in the pre-test shows that 85% of adolescents have medium level and 15% high level, 55% received information through the media; In the post test, it was obtained that 54% of the adolescents have medium level and 46% high level. Conclusions: The educational intervention at the level of knowledge about cervical cancer prevention was effective; confirming the research hypothesis. The T-student test was applied, with a value of 2.365, value of significance (p = 0.22 > 0.05), which being greater than 0.05, we can indicate that the hypothesis of the researcher or alternative hypothesis is accepted.
