To determine if there is a relationship between the value of the elevated neutrophil/lymphocyte ratio (INL) and erectile dysfunction (ED) in adult patients treated at the Hospital Belén de Trujillo. Method: observational, analytical and cross-sectional study, which included 188 male patients between 40 and 60 years old, who attended the outpatient urology clinic of the HBT. A standardized erectile function questionnaire (IIFE-5) and a complete blood count were performed, from which the INL was calculated. The cut-off point for SD was 20 and 1.57 for INL. The odds ratio with significance was obtained by Chi-square and a multivariate analysis was applied. Results: 61.2% of the patients presented erectile dysfunction. In this group, 73.9% of the patients had elevated INL, being an associated factor (OR: 3.63, p<0.001). Multivariate analysis determined that elevated INL (aOR: 3.61, 95% CI: 1.89-6.89), obesity (aOR: 2.05, 95% CI: 1.07-4.33) and diabetes mellitus (aOR: 3.36, 95% CI: 1.41-8.06), are independent associated factors for DE. Conclusion: High INL is a factor associated with ED in patients treated at the Hospital Belén de Trujillo, 2022
