The importance of computational hydraulic models for solving engineering problems lies in the ease it has to handle and represent complex environments of reality in addition to solving important problems such as the undermining of the pillars of a bridge, therefore Therefore, we consider it more than important to prepare a study that allows us to know the hydrodynamic parameters of the channel and study its interaction with the bridge in question in order to predict future problems that may arise in the substructure. The digital modeling of the riverbed of the Moche river was carried out and the “Huacas Bridge” was placed in it, for which it was introduced with 130 m in length and 4 pillars, each one measuring 3.80 m long and 1.00 m wide. The diameters were found, the results being: D10 = 0.184 D30 = 0.256 D50 = 0.305 D60 = 0.368., The flows recorded by the Quirihuac station for the last 69 years were analyzed, of which the maximum avenue flow was determined for a return period T = 500 years, being a total of 487.91 m3 / s, and the most representative flows of the sample were analyzed, the highest being 1000 m3 / s. A 3- dimensional hydraulic computational model was built for which a 0.50 m x 0.50 m mesh is considered, since by means of the “Volume of fractional area” technique. The maximum general scour was determined at 3.64 meters, for the sector upstream of the Huacas Bridge. To estimate local scour, values of 2.96 and 2.47m have been found; In the two-dimensional model, values were obtained in the ranges from 1.82m to 2.42m.
