Estrategia metodológica FA74 para mejorar el desarrollo de habilidades investigativas en los estudiantes de ingeniería industrial. UPAO, 2018

Abstract

La enseñanza de la investigación en el contexto universitario requiere implementar nuevas rutas de trabajo que generen un escenario educativo innovador y la formación en investigación, que garantice al estudiante la realización de investigaciones científicas. El objetivo de este trabajo fue demostrar que la aplicación de la “Estrategia metodológica FA74” desarrolla habilidades investigativas en los estudiantes de Ingeniería Industrial-III ciclo de la UPAO. Cincuenta estudiantes matriculados en la asignatura Estadística Descriptiva conformaron la muestra de estudio. Ellos participaron del proceso de enseñanza con la “Estrategia metodológica FA74” durante un semestre académico. La investigación fue tipo preexperimental con pretest y postest. Se elaboró un test para medir el nivel de habilidades investigativas, la cual se aplicó antes y después de la experiencia. El puntaje promedio obtenido por el grupo experimental, en el pretest, fue cinco; mientras que el puntaje promedio en el postest fue dieciséis. La prueba de comparación de medias T-Student para muestras emparejadas, determinó diferencia estadística significativa (p<0.05) entre los puntajes del pretest y postest. Se concluyó que la “Estrategia metodológica FA74” mejora el desarrollo habilidades investigativas en los estudiantes. Esta estrategia puede ser aplicada en cualquier asignatura y constituye una nueva y poderosa ruta de trabajo en la investigación formativa.

The teaching of research in the university context requires the implementation of new work routes that generate an innovative educational scenario and research training that guarantees the student the realization of scientific research. The objective of this work was to demonstrate that the application of the “FA74 Methodological Strategy“ develops research skills in students of Industrial Engineering-III UPAO cycle. Fifty students enrolled in the subject Descriptive Statistics made up the study sample. They participated in the teaching process with the “FA74 Methodological Strategy“ during an academic semester. The investigation was preexperimental type with pretest and posttest. A test was developed to measure the level of investigative skills, which was applied before and after the experience. The average score obtained by the experimental group, in the pretest, was five; while the average score in the posttest was sixteen. The T-Student means comparison test for paired samples determined a statistically significant difference (p <0.05) between the pretest and posttest scores. It was concluded that the “FA74 Methodological Strategy“ improves the development of investigative skills in students. This strategy can be applied in any subject and constitutes a new and powerful route of work in formative research.
