The Chan Chan Site Museum belongs to the National Museum Network of the National Institute of Culture, which brings together diverse collections of different cultural manifestations developed in the same territory and that share a common identity at the regional level within the Moche Route, especially with the collections of the Chimú culture. Currently, there is a building that houses this function, however, it does not have the space or the appropriate conditions to exhibit, store and restore the local heritage, being overwhelmed in its capacity in the face of the recent increase in collections; Consequently, many environments have been cancelled, adapted and improvised and do not have the basic requirements of functionality, safety and comfort for the development of these functions, therefore a descriptive investigation was carried out resulting in the proposal of a feasible project since it is contemplated in the Master Plan for Conservation and Management of the Chan Chan Archaeological Complex and aims to expand and improve the infrastructure and services of the Museum, providing conditioned and appropriate spaces for research and exhibition of the collections. We worked in collaboration with the pertinent authorities to guarantee the objectives, quality and functionality of the project
